I have some time
during
spring break to
work on a new
digital
painting. I am
in the mood for
a moody
atmosphere (as
what most of my
images are). I
added
dragonflies at
the end of my
project time to
reflect this is
a humid
atmosphere. I
even design the
waters to feel
that way (algae,
underwater
plants, little
bugs, etc).

I went ahead
and started the next painting after I completed "Blue Song", this new one is
called "Morning Waterfall" a remake from my original version I made back in
2004. You can see my original version
here, as you can see I have improved my skills since then. It is based on
the same software I have used since then.

Blue Song
It has been a
while since I last touched my artwork. Been busy over the last few months. I
decided to make a blue sunrays scene, "Blue Song" with some redwood trees in the
back. I hope you like it.

Jungle Glee
(Upgrade)
I decided to update my older version I did back in 2006. "Jungle
Glee"...the newer version is posted below.. You can preview my old version
here. I just think the lighting just needs to be adjusted a bit.

Here is a
magical artwork I am doing here of a girl holding a lit up fairy. My goal here
is realism of the lighting. My final size is 5000 pixels wide which it would
result great resolution when it comes to printing it in smaller sizes. It
is now available thru Zazzle for prints. Check it out!

rendering landscapes...I decided to make a morning light scene using

I decided to
make another
jungle-like
image. I made a
new one using a
new upgraded
program Vue 7
Complete. It is
called "Jungle
Rain Forest". I
used the
eco-painter in
Vue to paint the
hanging plants
on those banyan
trees.

I recently
upgraded my Vue
application to
Vue Complete
version 7. I
need the
eco-painter as
the primary
reason for the
upgrade. For
those of you
that do
not understand
Vue terminology,
it is simply a
tool to spread
vegetation to
where I want it
placed
along the
landscape in art
software. New
images using Vue
7 is coming up.

I realized that
in downloading
tubes, the file
size can be
overwhelming to
some folks....so
I decided to
decrease the
size a bit and
offer it in PNG
format and
even preview it
in actual size (PNG
format)
and you have the
option to
download it or
not. Also
, I decided to
revised one of
my tubes in the
Olivia's tube
gallery page.
First of all, I
changed the
facial features
to match what it
really looks
like on the
portrait tube.

I purchased "Carrara
7" as it was on
sale for 50 per
cent off....I
like to learn
that
software...it is
really a
different
software, so it
would be a while
before I post
anything with
Carrara in
it...besides I
only spend a few
minutes a day
learning it.. I
also updated a
new Rory tube
figure in the
Children's tube
division. I
removed the old
version and
replaced it with
a new one, as
seen below:

It amazes me how
many emails I
get from folks
thanking me for
the free tubes.
You are welcome.
Looking at the
stats, more
folks downloaded
Olivia more than
Rory..which is
ok, but at least
I know which
ones are
downloaded the
most therefore I
can make more of
similar. I had
some issues from
emails that
importing tubes
does not work in
versions 7 or
earlier of Paint
shop pro which I
dont know why.
Usually,
programs that
are old will not
understand new
version even if
they are in same
formats.
Folks having
Paint Shop Pro
version 7 or
earlier, I
suggest to
download psd
format which
also imports
into paint shop
pro all
versions.
If you have any
other problems,
email me and
I will see what
I can do.
Updates ahead in

area.....I am
going to work on
more grown up
tubes (in the
teenage years)
which are
products I
purchased from
DAZ that relates
to "Laura".

of a girl

I consolidated
some of my
links. I merged
the child's
dream gallery
into Vue
landscape
gallery, since
the Child's
dream gallery is
rendered in Vue
as well. I added
a new poser tube
in the Rory
section.
Important note
about using my
work:
Folks who often
used my artwork
in websets asked
me about tubing
objects or
characters
out of my
artwork to use
them in other
places. I do not
like the fact
folks masking
them out of my
artwork so I
declined their
requests. I
decided to make
tubes as itself
for you to
download to
use instead.
After searching
thru the net, I
see there are so
many faerie
tubes out there
that you would
not have
difficult time
finding, and I
find children
tubes are
lacking.
I, particular do
not like fairies
as much as
I do in
realistic
people. So I
decided to do
children tubes
to start with,
then move on to
angels and adult
ones later. I
will start with
some free ones
for you to try
then will offer
others for sale
at a later time.

new character,
"Olivia" poser
tube.....so far
I did a portrait
one. Feel free
to use them in
your personal
artwork if
needed.

I decided to
open up a new
division, "Poser
Tubes"..they are
images with
background
transparent and
are in PSD
format...I
figure my site
can be more
useful if I
offer some tubes
, just read the
terms before
using them.

A few
things...first
of all...I
modified this
site a little
bit. The images
are pretty much
the same as
before. I added
a new art to be
offered as
prints,
"Lighthouse"
which is more of
a summer scene.
I also added a
new artwork , "Siblilngs"
which is added
in the Child's
Dream gallery.

I made a new
revised version
of
"Fireflies"...I
realized some
folks was not
sure if it was a
girl or boy on
my original
fireflies image
so I made it
clear on the new
version that it
is a girl...this
time I show
some emotion of
a girl enjoying
the fireflies in
a jar after she
spent time
collecting them.
Final render was
done in Vue.

I realized I am
really involved
in Poser after
learning it a
few weeks now. I
have added a new
"fireflies"
image. I cant
believe I saw a
product for Vue
which are
fireflies....found
in renderosity
marketplace...it's
been a long time
thing for me
what I always
wanted to make
but could never
accomplished
it...here is my
first "Poser"
scene of maddie
surrounded by
magical
fireflies!

I had poser 6
sitting on the
shelf for a long
time ( a couple
of years) I
really never got
involved in it
as for what I
have seen on the
net, I just dont
think Poser
models are
glamerous, but I
thought I give
it a shot. I
purchased
Millennium kids
and stuff for "Maddie"
so it looks like
I will start
posting some
children stuff
there.

I have
completed the
"Moonlight
Skyscraper"...I
think it turned
out nicely. I
may not got the
best results as
far as
environmental
quality, but I
think the
moonlight and
the lights on
the building is
spectacular. It
started out as a
different
moonlight
setting, but I
wanted a more
dark blue type
so I revised it.
In other words,
it took me a
while to
complete.

Here is a sample

have to play

amazed how many

there. I
may find another

that offer
canvas panel
sets and canvas
wrapped prints.
Basically I will
have two print
divisions
including Zazzle
soon.
I will expand
the wallpaper
gallery soon. I
will wait till
Halloween season
is about over
then replace it
with new one.

I decided to do
a revised
version of
"Willow Shadow"
from
Worldbuilder,
it's been a
while since I
worked on that
software. I
really like the
one I did back
in 2005 but
found some
things needed
re-tooling. The
revised version
shows the rays
of light more
and is a higher
quality image. I
will post it for
available as in
prints soon.
