Katrina and Rita, the evil twins,
swept over lives, and homes
and people we so love.
They came from afar, they came from above...
and blew in so close together,
Then they poured in an ugly weather!
Everything was washed away in the flood,
and all that was left was water and mud.
I pray so much for the people they hurt,
and homes they crushed to mere dirt.
We are Americans we will help each other,
no matter what the trial may be.
But, it will be a long time before the wicked sisters,
will leave our damaged memories.
 

Our Dear Father, please envelope the victims of Katrina and Rita in your arms. And for those lost, the dear lives that were taken...please hug them all for me...Diana
