Moonlight

Moonlight

To bathe in the shining moonlight,
is like walking among the stars.
Traveling in the dark night,
I am dreaming of afar.
My heart races in the blue moon
as I see my shadow friend.
The harvest moon mellows me
and breathes the summer's end.
I long to embrace the moon,
the sliver, the half, the whole.
The light awakens my skin,
and touches the sleeping soul.
