Lighthouse February 10th, 2007 Even though I love how I did the lighthouse in the 2006 version, I am in the mood to advance it to a better version by making it more realistic and more tropical like. Worldbuilder did not come with excellent tropical plants in their libraries. I decided to purchase Xfrog tropical plants pack and import them here. It took me forever to figure out how to make the background transparent surrounded the leaves of the tree when importing Xfrog into Worldbuilder. (trick is the background must be black and placed it as masked texture). I hope you like it. The original version is here. Print for sale is available on this item here |

Below are cropped portions taken from actual image. After rendering it, I took it into Photoshop and used water splash brushes and made the waves more realistic in the shoreline. See if you can spot a canoe there. Final render size is 3000 X 4000 pixels. 10 MB file size. You can see the original version here that I rendered a year ago. |
